Frequently Asked Questions

All of our bison are pasture-raised on ReWild Ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills. They roam wide-open prairies, are never fed hormones or antibiotics, and are managed with respect for the land and the herd.

Yes. Bison is naturally lean, protein-rich, and lower in cholesterol and fat than beef. It’s also high in iron and omega-3s. Many of our customers choose bison as a healthier red meat option without sacrificing flavor.

Every cut is hand-processed, vacuum-sealed, and flash-frozen to lock in peak freshness. Your order arrives frozen, ready to store in your freezer or thaw when you’re ready to cook.

We ship directly from our Broken Bow cold storage in insulated boxes with dry ice. This ensures your meat stays frozen and safe during transit. We currently deliver across the midwest and beyond.

Frozen and vacuum-sealed cuts will keep their quality for up to 12 months in the freezer. Once thawed, we recommend cooking within 2–3 days.

From tenderloins and ribeyes to roasts, ground bison, and jerky, we offer a full selection of premium cuts. Many customers enjoy our curated subscription boxes, which provide a balanced mix of steaks, ground, and specialty items each month.

Because bison is leaner than beef, it cooks faster. We recommend cooking it at a lower temperature and removing it from heat a little earlier than you would beef. Medium-rare is ideal for most steaks.
