Cooking Instructions

  • h3>Prep the Patties:
    1. Gently mix 1 lb ground bison with 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    2. Form into 4 patties slightly larger than your buns (they'll shrink while cooking)
    3. Make a small indent in center of each patty to prevent puffing
    4. Let rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes

    Grill the Burgers:

    1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates
    2. Cook 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (135°F internal temp)
    3. Don't press down on patties - this keeps them juicy!
    4. Add cheese in the last minute if desired
    5. Let rest 2-3 minutes before serving

    Pro Tips:
